# AydrA — Italian Technical Death Metal Band > Pioneering Italian technical death metal since 1986. AydrA is a technical / progressive death metal band from the Marche region of Italy (Ancona area, between Falconara Marittima and Monte San Vito). Its roots go back to 1986, when the group was called Hydra and played power/thrash.
