Line-up
The current AydrA line-up, and every musician who has been part of the band since 1986.
Current line-up

Mauro Pacetti
Vocals
1991 – present
Founder of the AydrA line-up, he joined in 1991 on bass and vocals and designed the band's logo across every era (vocals only since 1999). A degree in psychology (thesis on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict), he works as a freelance sound engineer and co-founded the Mosaiko LED-wall company (2018). Father of Zoe and Yago.

Marcello Lammoglia
Guitar
1996–2001 · 2013 – present
Guitarist from Senigallia and a close friend of Francesco Olivi, with a rhythmic, modern approach that complements the lead playing. He left in 2001 to play with Gunfire and rejoined at the 2013 reunion.

Giuseppe Cardamone “Peppe”
Guitar & backing vocals
2013 – present
Joined at the 2013 reunion as guitarist and second voice. He released Elektron with Duality (2015) and has been a steady pillar of the band's second life, through Leave to Nowhere (2024).

Andrea Mastromarco “Mastro”
Bass
1999–2001 · 2013–2014 · 2024 – present
Bassist coming from Infernal Poetry and an old high-school friend of Mauro. He left to carry out humanitarian missions with Médecins Sans Frontières in Africa — leaving an instrumental track as a legacy on the album — and returned for the band's recent era.

Marco Bianchella
Drums
2013 – present
Drummer coming from Gunfire. He owns White Rock Studios (WR Studios), the band's recording headquarters, and co-founded Mosaiko (2018) with Mauro.

Francesco Olivi
Lead guitar
1992–2007

Alessandro Marcelli

2002–2007
A young local guitarist mentored by Francesco Olivi, he matured quickly into a high-level arranger and soloist. Influenced by Meshuggah and Gorguts, he wrote the instrumental Prelude to… on Hyperlogical Non-Sense.
Giovanni Rovatti
Guitar & vocals
1986–1996
The last Hydra survivor — vocalist and guitarist from 1986 — he wrote four of the five songs on Psycho Pain Control. He moved to Milan for work in 1996, closing the direct Hydra-to-AydrA line.
