40 Years of Chaos · EP.33 — Hyperlogical Sin Live 2001/2013

Before the new album came the tapes. On 7 July 2024, after the three vinyl reissues of the historic catalogue, Rude Awakening opened the archive with Hyperlogical Sin Live 2001/2013 — a limited CD of 150 copies lining up two different AydrA eras on a single disc.

The first part is a concert from the Icon of Sin tour in 2001: Mauro Pacetti on vocals, Francesco Olivi and Marcello Lammoglia on guitars, Andrea Mastromarco on bass, Nicola Raffaeli on drums. The second is from the Hyperlogical Non-Sense tour in 2013, with the reunion line-up: Mauro, Giuseppe Cardamone and Luca Calò on guitars, Mastro on bass, Marco Bianchella on drums.

Two line-ups, twelve years apart, the same fury. Live, the songs change skin — and the 2013 set closes with two covers, Crystal Mountain by Death and Raining Blood by Slayer.

Everything remastered and on CD for the first time, with an eight-page colour booklet: photos, historic posters, the Icon in Tour 2001 pages, the Hyperlogical Live 2013 pages, and the story of the band told through the images of the time.

The vault was open. What came out of it would keep coming out for the rest of the year.
