Andrea "Mastro" Mastromarco came into AydrA in 1998 from Infernal Poetry, when Mauro dropped the bass to concentrate on vocals. He played on the quintet's most intense live years and on Hyperlogical Non-Sense.

Then he left — for humanitarian missions in Africa with Médecins Sans Frontières.

In 2012 he came home from a mission with one fixed idea: get AydrA going again. Five years of complete silence had passed. He picked up the phone, and that call became the 2013 reunion.
